Jerry M. Burger is a professor of Psychology at Santa Clara University. I'm not really sure what this author was trying to accomplish with this read. The key to being a successful writer IMO is to gain a readers interest. This book is written without mistakes but is nothing that will stand out. This book is predictable in that there is any number of of P&P varaiations out there with passion written in the pages. Linda Berdoll, Ola Wegener, Abigail Reynolds are a few off the top of head and whats more you get a complete story with their books. The fact that this book is 11 pages and .99 is such a disappointment and had it not been Kindle Unlimited would have never been read by me. It is not erotic which is what is usual in a short read. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Not much story here

This is quite short. It just describes fully clothed sexual foreplay initiated by ELizabeth with Darcy in the carriage immediately following their wedding and wedding breakfast, then getting as quickly to their chambers as possible once they arrive at Darcy House. There's nothing that makes this a Pride and Prejudice story except the character names. Could have been any newly-married Recency couple riding in a carriage. The writing itself is okay. Glad I read it through Kindle Unlimited - I would not have been happy to pay for this.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that every lady, whether young, old, or in-between, who has read Pride & Prejudice or seen one of the film adaptations, has Darcy fantasies. Margaret Gale's brief fantasy should have been on an Austen-author fiction site, or included in a book of short stories, or as a chapter in a longer tale. By itself there's not much substance. The story is told from a rather creative point of view -- and is also rather naughty. So if you like that sort of thing, it's worth reading.

Explaining Grammar Teaching

When most people think of grammar, they think of endless drills in which students repeat endless lists of grammatical forms. What this book teaches you is that there are many ways to teach grammar. The three main methods outlined are teaching grammar as a product, as a process, and as a skill. These three ways of teaching have different advantages and disadvantages. Through examining the examples in this book, you will be able to take advatage of these different methods of grammar instruction, and learn to judge which methods are appropriate for which situations. For teachers who are using a communicative approach, but are disappointed with the results of purely communicative method, the approach of teaching grammar as a skill will provide the missing element that is needed in the lesson to improve accuracy. This book belongs in every language teacher's library.

Thought Provoking

I really loved this book. It helped me approach my grammar and teaching in an entirely different way. If you've been an ESL teacher for a while, this could open some avenues for you to explore in your teaching. It is more though provoking than prescriptive. I have taken things I have learned and created some really interesting lessons.
I originally purchased this for my DELTA course, and I am very happy that I did. I have read other books in the series, but this is by far my favorite.
